November Market Day
On Saturday the 18th of November, the church will hold its annual November Market Day, but with a difference!
As this is our final market day in our premises at Heidelberg, we will be having a HUGE TRASH AND TREASURE market, with many household items up for sale (almost everything but the kitchen sink!)
There will be less baked goods that usual, to make way for the Suomi Shop which will sell Finnish goodies such as coffee and sweets, and there will also be a stall selling nakki (frankfurts) and lenkki makkara (the traditional fat sausage that we all love). The café will serve coffee and pulla from 9:30am, and a hot brunch of BBQ sausages and salads will be available to purchase from the kitchen.
There will be plenty of stalls selling everything from crockery to linen, knitted items, handcrafts, furniture and bric-a-brac, toys, and heaps of treasures that are too many to mention.
Kids and adults all welcome to join us in our CARNIVAL atmosphere!
A raffle will be held at the conclusion of the market, with "better than ever!" prizes to be won on the day.
